Welcome!
AllSteps Thursdays is a social dance party where people come together to groove, connect, and enjoy great music.
Everyone is welcome. No experience or partner is needed.
The Venue
This event takes place at Stars Talent Performance School: 14 Beresford Street, Mascot, Sydney.
It’s a purpose-built performing arts studio with polished wooden floors, large open shutters, powerful fans, mirrors, and professional sound and lighting.
There is also a chill room where dancers can relax, cool down, and chat between songs.
What is AllSteps?
AllSteps is a social dance community. We fuse Latin partner dances with Pop, RnB, and Hip Hop music to make social dancing fresh, fun, and inclusive.
How the Night Works
The evening begins with a short beginner class from 6:30–7:00pm, where new dancers can learn the basic steps used throughout the night.
From 7:00pm onwards the floor opens for social dancing. People are free to dance, meet others, and enjoy the music.
We’ll also run activities to help beginners get involved and keep everyone engaged. The goal is simple: a relaxed social dance where everyone feels welcome and included.
What dances do we do?
AllSteps focuses on three core partner dances:
• Two Step inspired by Merengue
• Three Step inspired by Salsa
• Four Step inspired by Bachata
These rhythms work perfectly with modern Pop, RnB, and Hip Hop music, so you can dance to songs you already know and love.
What music will we play?
We’ll play a range of modern Pop, RnB, and Hip Hop music, with two songs for each dance style. You can find our playlists on Spotify here.
Feel free to request songs if you feel they will go well with the crowd and vibe.
What to Wear
AllSteps is relaxed and casual. Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. Sneakers or trainers are perfectly fine. Experienced dancers are welcome to wear their usual dance shoes.
Courtesy and respect
All dancers will treat each other with courtesy and respect. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and dealt with immediately.
If you feel unsafe during the event, please inform the host and we will deal with the issue.
